Would anyone mind making a minimum donation of $1.00 per meeting?

I would love to have events with raffles and parties, but I don't have the funds (after all I am in college) If everyone was willing to give a minimum donation of $1.00 per meeting we could do some really fun things! Please let me know your opinion on this.
